Heavily influenced by Beatrix Potter (Author & Illustrator), Georgia O’Keefe (fine artist), Ron Burns (fine artist) and Brian Transeau aka BT (Musician), Amber O’Brien has been drawing since she was a little girl. Animals are her favorite subject and her 6 pets are her everyday inspiration. Her work has a very versatile style and features vibrant colors, whimsical elements with a cheerful presence. Amber earned a B.F.A. at California State University of Sacramento and has years of experience in figure drawing, canvas and mural painting, sculpture and digital design. She is seasoned in mediums including: Adobe Suite, acrylic, oil & watercolor paints, Prismacolor pencils, charcoal & graphite pencils, polymer & stoneware clay, and digital photography.
